Overkill with M203

I practically always use the M203, or my pistol.

The only time people seem to consistently cry n00b is when they get shot point blank with the tube. These folks expect it to be used realistically. Things like shooting through a window to hit people inside, or long range to hit someone taking cover behind an obstacle.

The rest of us accept the weapon is part of the game and adapt. We have a regular on our server that ONLY uses the M4/GL combo. I have to laugh when people get mad at him for picking an effective combination and doing well with it.

I have started to see alot less people use the GL, and when they do its actually because they produced quite a good shot.

yeah almost no one uses the tube liek they did when the game first came out,they didnt even have to nerf it to,good stuff!

My only gripe about the M203 is that when I see low ranks using it after they can't get kills with the M16, then they start to whore the GL...

I don't mind it when its used well, like across the map or through a window, but close range? Hell no.

I mostly use the toob to spam the enemy spawn right at the start of the round. Gets me lots of kills and takes most of the bastards out of the game for a min or two. Very useful on SD.

I like the m203, I really do. I think the M4+203 is really sexeh. Reminds me alot of Iraq and war time. But, I get yelled at in every server with it. (i dont really whore it) I use it when its a tight spot, or he far away... I guess.

But like people said, people that use it now.. Mastered it, and use it when there in a pinch.

I got tubed alot today, and by tubed i mean the lame way imo to use the gun.

People walking around the whole map as though it was a primary weapon.
