im going to reformat my drive and reinstall everything. i want to save all my player configs. where is the folder located at? thanks. bf2 and bf2 sp. what else besides game setup might i want to save?

I usually only save my screenshots, all I have to do when I reinstall is change my video settings and my controls
keep a copy of the latest patch on ur HDD at all times, thats pretty much what I do
your controlls and video settings might be in your documents\battlefield2 folder -
id also save the patch installer so u dont have to download it again.Comment

The controls/configs/videosettings/everything is in your My Documents/Battlefield 2 folder.Comment

save the /profiles/ folder under /my documents/battlefield2/ then copy it back when your done re-installing. you'll still need to know your account password(s) the first time you go to login."Crunch's First Officer"

the documents/bf2 folder is 226 meg with lots of folders and files. thanks for specifing the one i needed. cause yesterday i just backed up the whole folder. but i was thinking that if i replace the whole folder of the new install there could be a probem.Originally posted by signa View PostComment
