alright so im pretty new to the game, just started yesterday...SO on with my question: How do you throw a grenade? Is a grenade a weapon you dont start with? If so how do you activate it? I know this is probably the commonest of knowlege, but for some reason, i cant figure out how....

yea with grenades you have to unlock them, you are able to unlock an item every time you get promoted. And the default key for it is '7'.

If you have any spare unlocks it should say on your main page, beside your score/rank.

Dead. So true. What stopped me from playing for the longest time was the radial bug until I learned how to fix it myself from the forums. When I finally got back in the game most of my favorite servers where gone, over two thirds just empty servers. Player traffic has dropped significantly.

yea the fact they didn't fix the radial bug themselves shows they don't really care if the game dies out. in fact, it might be an intentional way of phasing out this game because they don't want to invest any more resources supporting it.

I dunno man, whenever I go to play, there are over 300 servers to choose from. I have bookmarked half a dozen of the non-team-stacking ones, and they are almost always full with 32, 48, or 64 player games.

Nice work at telling a guy who's just bought a game "sorry mate, it's dead" :P Yeah it's emptying, but it's still going. BF2 is still going (it might have a bit more in the longetivity dept though) but christ, how many of you guys that are saying 2142 is dying actually play it regularly anymore?

I don't see the point in hijacking this guys thread to go and say that to be honest. Not whilst there's still plenty of servers out there. It's common sense that a year into a games existence and the presence of new games of the same type coming into play (COD4), activity on the one will wane.

Before going for the big guys tags, try taking mine. Much easier. Yet rewarding, cause you can post the screenie here and brag about it... But don't brag about mine, they are way too easy to get. Just for the start. Go, get 'em.

True. Mine is half that. There is still lots to play but just not as many. I also have filters for certain games and that is where I noticed the biggest drop. NS strike also dropped but there are still servers out there. I always filter the games that have reserved spots since you get kicked if you are not in their clan. It is still fun to play apart from the bug infestation. Anybody have a can of bug spray?
