fraps wont work in cod4 ??

how would i go to fix this?

Yea, I have the newest and no problems for me.

Might check that out or your video driver, as it tends to relate to it.

since i got the fraps update it take 10 screen shots a minute and i havent ticked the continues screen shot button

My FRAPS will record fine. Only problem is in BF2, it will record voice coming out of Teamspeak and VOIP ingame, but won't record the sounds or music in game... weird.
