    click this link: http://punkbuster.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

scroll down until you see the three links and click on the one of the operating system you have. after downloading and installing, open the program and click "add game". add bf2. once added click the "check for updates" button and it will look for all PB updates for bf2, and then update it.

try that first and if it doesnt work, post back here and we'll try something else.

    good luck to you!

when you say sends you back to screen, u mean desktop , or the server screen in the game.?

If it wipes the entire game out & you see ur desktop, then thats probably not Pbuster.
      post specs

and is this a new install , or you been playin a while & it just start? gotta give lotsa info

theres your problem, that video card is junk, and your processor is a little slow,im not sure if its too slow.
go here to this link to see if anything else is wrong, hit Bf2 in dropdown box, then hit the "can i run it " button
Check your system requirements. Can I Run it? Test your specs and rate your gamimg PC.
