After my family did spring cleaning, I lost my cd-key and have not been able to find it since!! And now i cant play on any latest patched version of bf2. I have made my account but since i cannot find my cd key i cant play the game. I have the key registered on my account but i cant find my registered key so i cant play on my account!! arrgg may i pleas have some assistance :) it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the game installed
BF2 key is in registry somewhere.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc]
it's not encrypted at all. it's in plaintext, preceded by x9492 or something
If you don't have it installed you could contact EA, may have to send them your disks and box or whatever and they may send you a new game with a key back. -
the key isnt "registered" to your account..
if you mean that you registered your game with EA when you installed the game, then you should be able to find the key. (ie log into EA's website with your email that you registered with and then look under My Games or something like that)Comment
