  • Compare and Contrast of Forgotten Hope and Battlegroup Frontline

    Forgotten Hope
    -more infantry combat then bgb
-focusing on North Africa for now
-not as much lag in SP imo
    -better single player imo
    -only sniper pick up kits
-takes a long time for updates lol, but well worth the wait
    -Bolt action rifle rock
    -artillery
    -British
    -limiting kits

    BattleGroup Frontline
    -more armor combat
-SP is not as good imo
    -sniper pick up kits also
    -bolt action rifles also
    -dynamite
-seems to lag a lot for me
    -focusing on eastern front
-tanks are awesome, although difficult to see sometimes, which is what it suppose to be like
    -Russians
    -Not many people online

Let me know if I left anything out, I only played both of these mods for about 1 hours each.

FH2 has a lot more polish and looks more professional, but I like the easter front more so BGF is still awesome for me.

        Sand gets kinda boring.

When I first plugged FH2 in, it felt real. Nothing sounded totally made up, I could imagine the sounds were all recorded during a battle.

Tanks have a clunky, finicky feeling that I think is good.

BGF is good too, but FH2 seems like it just goes that extra mile. It's like a car getting waxed, except IMO the wax is more important than usual.

the only sound that i rofl at is the cracking as bullets hit near you. It's blatently made using little French Firecrackers.

Ah, the dreaded Easter Front - wave after wave of German tanks and infantry smashed against a fortified wall of baskets and eggs. And don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise, those big white rabbits are tough to take down.

Comparing the german models, i like BFG's better, seems more variety.
