Not true. Certain people are absolute b*stards for various reasons. Ping difference comes up as one (it's never fun knifing the aussies - knifing them isn't the hard part, it's getting to them without being killed by some spack who shot you 400ms ago) - and certain people are incredibly difficult to even FIND. If I'm hunting for tags, I don't draw my knife until I know where the person is, and if they get any points or kills, then I can generally pinpoint where they are going/are by what flags/silos have just gone or where somebody was killed - and then there's identifying and remembering gun types. Some people can make that difficult to do (I still haven't knifed kingtruth who just reappeared on the leaderboard - I must've been in around 10 rounds with him and I've only ever seen him at most twice, the dude just.... doesn't really do anything!).

Also, go and ask fantastico14 if he's having fun trying to knife me. He's been chasing me for more than 3 days now and whilst has knifed plenty of people in the process (one of them being my flatmate a fair few times to his annoyance) and has got close, hasn't succeeded in anything except getting some pretty horrific K/D's - it's not like I'm difficult to find either. I'm pretty sure I gave slaney a hard time with it too. However I usually get knifed once a day by someone who stumbles across me whilst I'm unawares.

The simple deal is, if someone KNOWS you're after their tags, you've just made things a lot worse for yourself. Everytime I see timsad, fantastico, or any other of the stab-crazy people, I don't change my game, but I'm a lot more alert. A lot of people WILL change their game though to make themselves more difficult to knife - no point in it really though. I'm not difficult to knife, but I guess the same applies for other hardcore players - you make things a lot more difficult for yourself if you let them catch onto the fact that you're targeting them.

I agree with the root of what you're saying "it's not a case of if, it's when" - but I've come up against plenty of people that are difficult to knife who don't just whore the gunship/titan is all.

Haha yeah I noticed Fantastico hunting after ya. I guess he's knifing the top 100. I saw him knife Miedler the other day so yeah.

Anyway I hate it when people know you're after them and disconnect, or stay on their titan.

Take Docdurchschnit, I've been hunting him for about a month now, still haven't been able to get him.

1. Because he gunship whores.

2. If he's not playing titan mode as soon as I join he disconnects.

I was kinda pissed a while back TBH but now I kind of gave up with FFOW coming out and all...

Anyway I hate it when people know you're after them and disconnect, or stay on their titan.

Take Docdurchschnit, I've been hunting him for about a month now, still haven't been able to get him.

1. Because he gunship whores.

2. If he's not playing titan mode as soon as I join he disconnects.

I knifed him twice when he was playing suez cq - as always he gunship whores, but I knew his spawn point, so camped it, someone else was doing the same and it turns out the doc is a knife whore. He chased this guy, I chased him, wham bam thank you mam he's mine. I stayed there with 3 health and he came back for me, nailed him again.

Funnily enough, the other day when fantastico was after me - docdurchschnit was online too, rdx'ing and knifing. Got him another twice. I think he's got mine back since the first time though, can't remember.

And aye, I don't like people who disconnect or adjust their game style to avoid getting knifed. Why let some blade wielding maniac spoil your fun? It's far more fun just letting them get close and then nailing them in the face followed by a swift teabag

I haven't gone on a hunt in months either, got a few more to bag now too... so maybe will reignite the hunt...

Does anybody use the clan tag TB2142? Should we use it? I know most of you are already in clans (=T.K.C=, =L13=, xKill@x, etc) but would use use the tag TB2142 to be your clan of choice?

My only problem of getting knifed is I assume squadmates behind me will notice and shoot a knifer running straight through the frontlines rather than going after him with a knife after he has already gotten my tags.
