i have to say TDM as i simply have not been able to play many of the others due to the lack of servers here in Aus.

I liked hardcore but it's all just spam bullets in enemy directions and in 80% of the cases a single round causes the poor bastard who gets in the way of a bullet, to die.

I love Team Deathmatch when you have a good team.. But my Clan server is an HQ server and it is prolly my favorit game type.. (alot less camping in HQ..)
I like it because it keep's most players moving well somewhat... unlick Deathmatch where everyone just camps the whole game.. But I have alway's like CTF reason being is you have the peole that gard the flag and offence... and that is kind how HQ is just much more fast paced... I guess that is why it is my favorit gametype.. But a good 16 man free for all is awesome once in a while... (RPD PWNAGE) :)

wow i have found the complete opposite, in TDM i find everyone is running around except for maybe a few snipers and even they dont last long most of the time.

I find HQ is full of campers guarding like a pack of wolves around the HQ, and although that is the objective, its still camping IMO. I also find HQ's to be a grenade fest because it turns into, lob the grenades at the HQ.

Its amazing how many people like the different things in this game. Normally there is one that is dominate and all others die, but you have 4 out of the 6 that are neck-in-neck.

I fail at making polls on here, so someone should do a poll on HC vs SC vs OS also. I bet it would be between HC and SC.

I like softcore Domination because while I enjoy TDM, Dom is essentially the same but with points to attack and defend, too. That makes it more interesting for me.

Ideally, I like to play a nice mix, though. I sure wish there was a way to randomize all maps and modes.

While I enjoy having choices, it is a problem in CoD4... there's too many choices available and everyone has an opinion! Look at the spread in the results... how can you make a decision on what people want? They all want different things...

Thats why we setup our server to have different things rotate. HQ one map, SAB the next, so on so forth. Everyone gets a little something and most dont mind playing a round of HQ then go into TDM or SAB because most like it too.

That is one thing, the poll is only a vote of ONE. If we could vote for 3, I wonder if it would still be the same percentages?

HQ is my favourite, but each game mode is quite excellent in it's own way.

TDM with my M16 on bog.

Domination with the G3 on countdown.

Deathmatch with the P90 on showdown

S&D with the .50 cal on downpour (5 killstreak, all no-scopes 5/6 of the enemy)

S&D on crossfire with the MP5 (just me versus 4 guys, with the whole team cheering me after I won)

This is a great game.
