It eats my FPS though, so I leave it off.

What do you normally rock out at? I generally hit 90-110; so I can take a descent hit to make my gold stuff look amazing.

Yea no **** that its from specular maps. Problem is that mine still isnt shiny with that on. Think its to do with only having shaders 2.0 and I think 3.0 is needed which is stupid.. just make it shiny with 2.0 dammit <_<

^ Shader 2.0 may not be capable of making it shiny, thus requiring Shader 3.0.

There is a console command making it shader 3.0.

                I'm normally around 20-50 FPS on 1280 x 1024 with mediumish settings.

Funny though, I can play TF2 on 1680 x 1050 on Highish settings all over without much of a problem.

Guess the 7900GT isn't up to the job.

CoD4 is more demanding graphically than TF2 imo.

It's your GFX card, some GFX cards aren't able to show this shiny stuff.

I believe there was a Post about this, how to enable it. Let me find it....

My just started to Shine.. I just made Texture Filter to Auto instead of Trileanar.

Yea... my 7900GT isn't up to it really... Its definitely playable, but the game looks 20x better on my 360 in this situation.
