My modelling attempt

Romanian AIMS rifle, WIP, will keep updating until finished. I have some experience with modelling, and have played with an airsoft toy of the gun I'm modelling.

Close to done with model, starting on the texture. I made it into an East German variant because I can't figure out how to make the donkey **** grip.

looks sweet. the butt stock looks kindof thin and weak but that might just be how it is in RL.

changed handguards to wooden, bottom is inaccurate for Romanian or East German style AK. AK parts are often compatible with each other, so realistically, this would still work.

Going to redo the top cover and gas chamber.

The wood on the handguards reminded me of the M1 Garand.

Thanks for the comments. I have had very little time to work on this lately, so there's not much progress. I remodelled a lot of parts to make it even more accurate to the real thing and will post the final result when finished.
