I got cod4 2nd day it came out in Europe and played it solid for 2 weeks and got to rank 55 but after that i realised all the gay points about this game like nade spamming and noob tubes and of coarse a *** killing u with a LMG cause u only have 30 bullets he has like 100 . i was lookin forward to this game for ages and i "completed it" in like 30 hours game time :cry:

P.S completed it means all ranks not offline mode

The COD4 team made their ranks easy to get on purpose. That way people who need ranks to have fun can be satisfied, but the rest of the people can just play for fun.

I think you need to take a different approach to the game to make it more enjoyable, instead of doing the usual running and gunning, create multiple stealth class and see how many knife kills you can get during a game using this, rearrange your play a little.

Something i found kept me hooked recently is going for the headshots challenges for a single class, i unlocked the gold uzi recently by doing this and it was a great challenge.

If all you care about are your stats, I can't say I'll miss you if you quit. I too enjoy the "ding" of an advancement or the completion of a challenge, but now that I'm 95% complete I've stopped caring and just play for fun.

If the game isn't fun just by itself, then it's not worth playing. If I only had the default 5 classes, I would still love this game. It's just that much fun. Ranks, unlocks, perks, they all just add to it. But IW didn't use that as a crutch to make a sub-par game.

Take a break, play something else, and come back. I'm sure you'll find the fun again. :)

If you play on servers with less people and possibly different game types, you might find less of it (depending on where you go).

If you're the one staying in a server with nade spammers and GL spammers, then it's your own damn fault.

Hey, I completed the game (to rank 55) in under 22 hours. Today, I completed the entire game. All levels Veteran, and 100% of challenges. I'm still playing

i have to admit that im getting board with this game, i wish mp was as good as sp, on the speed off the game ( not all on wizz) & map size with real team based objectives it would have the longevity that i need.
but its getting old fast
