I'm tired of this UAV BS!!!!

Will someone answer this question for once! HOW CAN AN ENEMY PLAYER NOTUSING UAV JAMMER NOT SHOW UP ON THE UAV SCAN? I am so sick of getting snuck up on by someone using stopping power or another perk, and their not on the uav scanner. What is the point of even having a uav if it doesn't work! If this is a hack, then where the _ell can I get it. I'm am tired of being at the disadvantage because of cheaters. If I have to I'll hack myself since COD4 is infested with hacks and cheaters. I guess this is the only way to even the playing field.....how sad these people are ruining this game.

It might be a bug, or maybe they just spawn right by you. I'm not sure what causes this but i have gotten it a few times too.
As for COD4 being infested with hacks... come on now. I play around 1-2 hours a day, since release, and have only seen around 3-5 hackers. If more then that were hacking, they weren't anything special even with the hacks so it didn't really matter.

You may be overreacting a bit. While it's possible that people are cheating in order to wtfpwn you constantly, it's more likely that you've forgotten to take your medication.

Yes, it's a hack, and yes, everyone has it but you. I'd tell you where to get it, but that would be a direct violation of the "No Hogs Club" charter. I do not want to jeopardize my membership.

Hey 'Dorph, you forgot to use the [/sarcasm] tags.

Usually when someone doesn't show up on UAV, it's because they just spawned. Even without UAV, the spawn mechanics in this game are a pain sometimes. Since UAV goes in "waves," anyone that spawns between those waves is "invisible" until the next wave detects them.

I give the map a quick glance when I someone uses UAV, or I hear a gunshot nearby, but your attention needs to be focused on the world around you 90% of the time. UAV is a false security blanket for too many people.

I personally have not seen many cheats in this game and as of yet dont think there are many, i feel what you were experiencing was a bug that can happen on rare occasion as i have had it happen to me and players around me. How can you be sure he wasnt using UAV Jammer?

Dont let it get you down and just play the game for fun, always keep your wits about you and dont rely on the UAV too much to show you where the enemy are.

even if its working all good and all the uav scans every couple of seconds so let say the guy heard u walking around he could had run around behind u and u would never know until the next uav scan and by then it might be just a bit too late... i learned not to trust uav scans most of the time so u should too

I'm frustrated about the UAV sometimes, you manage to prfectly outflank the enemy and just as you are about to attack, it goes, "Enemy UAV is airborne!"

I hate it, it pisses me off so damn much. I can't understand how some ppl complain about air strikes while UAV are supposed to be completely fine.

Right, now ppl are gonna say use a UAV Jammer then and yeah, I do so one 2 of my 5 classes. It's not like I plan to outflank the enemy in some cases and I just end up in a very good position and then the stupid UAV :S :yay:
