Unlocking blind please help

So after a very generous person on the forums helped me unlock some SF weapons ive got a problem with the unlocking part which is pretty silly haha. oh so heres my problem i can scroll through the vanilla unlocks and whatnot but once i scroll past the PKM it all becomes blank screens with default descriptions and no pictures. so are there any files i should download to see them or can somebody give me the order so ill know the amount of clicks to the left or right to get to a certain gun? another question is i only have 3 unlocks so far and when i get to my next rank will i be able to unlock both a vanilla gun and a SF gun would i have to play another round in SF?

pretty incoherent and lack of grammar but im not the most scholarly type haha.

Well, when I got my SF unlocks after I played a round and logged back onto the regular BF2, a popup came up when I logged on just the same as when you get a promotion except there was only SF guns and I got to unlock I think 3 of them.

u wont have to play another round of SF, but thats strange that the pictures dont show up. have u tried restarting your game? sometimes when i alt tab in and out of hte game, the screen becomes weird and alot of the buttons and pictures dont show up

Btw, cant you just go into the BFHQ thinggy and pick from there?

Well i tried it on 2 different computers with the same result and then went back to my computer and for some reason the screenshots were there and now im enjoying my new SF weapons ^^. thanks guys especially you waaah_wah.

Well, i know the problem is solved...but..

Did you have localization files for BF2? Maybe you got some early version and didn't include the SF descriptions.

im not sure i bought the game the day it came out and i just updated it when i started playing again so no idea about the files.

It'd be easy to determine if you remember downloading anything custom for the game.
