Spotting

Question: has anyone else noticed that there's a sad lapse in spotting these days?

I mean - what are we playing: BF or CS?

Even commanders don't seem to be doing it.:shakehead

So - a call to arms: message/bully/encourage your team to spot!

I spot everything that moves, and that I think moves. Also when I'm commader people tell me to shut up. :]

spot everything that moves, unless i would be spotting in UAV, most importantly any vehicle i see will get the ol Q treatment instantly. it is amazing how many noobs are in jets these days, i can spot all the jets i want and the tards flying on my team will completely ignore them everytime. also of note spotting for teamates has an effective range of 500 yards. if you spot something and some of your team is more than 500m away they will get the message but won't see the dot.

I spot without even thinking about it. If your team has half decent pilots, its fun to spot armor and watch it get bombed.

I do hate the commanders that spam the chat with constant spotting though.

I try and spot as much as I can, espiaclly the snipers and APC/Tanks.

I always spot before I start shooting at someone. That way if they kill me then maybe someone on my team will know to avenge me. I get more kill damage assists that way, too.

But the funniest thing to do is to "spot" pretend soldiers and watch half of your team move the that position.

i usually spot alot but im trying to hold back. ive done alot of tweaking to get my sound to sound really nice and its all disrupted with continual radio messages. if there is a way to turn down hte volume of those radio messages, id be happy

I spot like there's no next round. I generally play as a sniper and half our job is to spot out the enemy position.

also when im commander i just do scan>right click on person>spotted
i get reccomended haha like people actually say be commander next time!

i'm one of the people that tell the commander to shut up....but i do spot regularly on foot.

i can't count the number of times I tried to Q spot while playing single player campaign on call of duty 4 :laugh::laugh: god i felt like a tard, zomg sniper, why can't i spot him dammit?
