Need help deciding, COD4 PC or Xbox360?

Okay im buying COD4 today just need to know is it better on PC or Xbox?
My computer has 1gig of ram, 7600 Geforce graphics card, 2.20GHz will the game run smoothly on my computer?

Although I'm an avid PC gamer, I would advise 360 unless you are willing to upgrade. You might run it but you would get a better experience from the 360

Demo runs fine and looks great at high-medium settings and I have very similar specs. I'd go with PC, consoles suck.

i'd go with PC myself

having played both 360 and PC versions the fun for me is more on PC,

M&K over console controller any day

plus your PC will handle it fine, it might not be the most uber pretty thing ever but it'll still be pretty enough and lag free (dependant on server)

I'd choose PC for the reasons outlined above. Just get an inexpensive RAM upgrade and you should be okay. RAM is really cheap right now...

PC in my opinion, like =ROB= said ram is pretty cheap, plus mouse and keyboard is much better.

Plus i have no love the the general XBOX live community (any present company excluded :p)

Game will play fine on that PC. Not as good the Xbox, but very playable. The questions you need to ask:

1-What are your friends playing
2-Where would you rather play the game

My friends (guild) play 90% PC games. My computer is on a small desk in the office though. I could play on the big screen in the living room from 9ft away on the couch, but I hate trying to play shooters with analog sticks.

I think the PC will have a longer replay value too. The Xbox will only ever get official content. Where the PC can have mods and community made maps. On the Xbox, all you get is prestige mode, which is just starting over 9 times to prove you're l33t.

Have you downloaded the CoD4 demo?

If not, DL the demo and see how it runs on your system. Decide from there and also based on what your friends are playing.

I don't want to open up a can of worms, but I enjoy FPS gaming much more when I have keyboard and mouse so personally I would do everything in my power to avoid having to buy it for a console.

Unless you really don't mind Shooters with the console controllers, I say PC all the way.

console is limited to 18 players

pc has up to 54 players

plus kb + mouse = more control

plus more mod content etc

actually, my friend has a 7800 and it looks about the same as mine with a 8800
