hey guys..i have been playing this game fir a while...but i never really used the battlefield recorder till now....how do i record my battles that i play...and how would i find these files on my computer...wheres the directory..thanks

Hi,
ingame open the console with ^ and type "demo.recorddemo name" where "name" is any name you like for the recorder files.
If you are done with recording type "demo.stoprecording" into the console interface.
the files should be in
......\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\demos
Thats at least how it worked for me in singleplayer.

On timeless we use rackage servers. They are excellent. They load the battlerecorders to a seperate server so you can download them later without causing extra bandwith on the server and cause lag.
On top of that you can download games you were not even in. An admins heaven.
actually the correct place for demos is
your document folder/ battlefield 2142/ profile/ defaultComment
