odds are it's going to be a console only game, not made by IW, and it's not odd at all to announce something like this right after COD4 came out, look at what they did with Bad Company, that was announced two months after 2142 came out and no one was really upset, it was console only.

LOL. Totally disagree. Treyarch continues making WWII shooters for Console, and IW cranks out a Modern shooter for BOTH Console and PC (perhaps every 2nd year). COD began in the WWII genre, and many of its fans still want that.

Short-attention-span console people get their version more often, and PC's mod-ability allows it to remain fresh longer. By producing both, and alternating them, it's a win-win.
