From the other thread since its locked:

get the client computer/laptop etc closer to the router.

      Use a better wireless router

Try not to go through thick walls

Don't sit the wireless router or the host computer near a electrical source or something else like a lamp etc..

I do not suggest trying to game over a wireless connection period..it just isn't as good as a wired connection.

Using XP or Vista doesn't make a difference...just as long as you follow what I said above.

to which I add, it makes a difference if you use Vista or XP despite what others might say, and here's evidence to back up what I'm saying

It does NOT make a difference no matter what forums you post... I've been using Vista since the Beta's and I've been a Microsupport Specialist for the last several years..My whole IT Dept has no idea where this thought about there being any difference between the "STOCK" versions of both XP and Vista...if you tweak either one way or the other then yeah but even then it requires some special tweaks and even then you will not notice any thing of a drastic difference. Just like modding your TCP/IP Stack or RWIN you might notice it a little more snap in your web surfing but for Gaming.. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE!
