BF AF refuses to work

well iv been playing bf2 again for awhile now (after playing bf2142)

i found out where AF was on my comp (ea downloader is messed up) so i install it and get the message that i may need to reinstall the latest patch in order to play so...

i do

then when i try to connect to a af server i get a message saying i need to actually own AF so im pretty confused at the fact that i installed the patch 2 minutes earlier

so i reinstall and this time i never updated this time

same message saying i need to buy it :S

thing is the servers show in white meaning i can access it

anyone know how to get the patch working?

You must register the booster packs with EA before you can play online. It links your game key to your BF2 nickname.

il try it but iv already bought and played it in the past but with a Downloader problem it was wiped off my account :S

Do you not have a key for the game? If you have a key you should be able to register it at that site. I think the only exception might be if you had already registered it and then forgot your account info. In any case, you won't be able to play online until you get it registered.

Try the link signa posted. That's the link that I used for the BC; not sure if it's the same for individual boosters or the CC. (Although I notice if you substitute bf2cc for bf2bp the exact same page comes up.)
