UAV Perk and silencer question

If you are using the UAV jamming perk , does the silencer do anything? Or can you run around holding the trigger of your m60 while scream/singing Boston's 'more than a feeling' at the top of you lungs?

I believe the UAV jamming perk only jams the UAV. Firing your weapon w/o a silencer still shows up a red blib on the mini-map.

Also, danceswithcows, singing at the top of your lungs in CoD4 will also show up on UAV, you may not want to do that. The dead silence perk corrects that also.

yeah, you need the silencer to be invisible on the map, dead silence is good but most people don't realize that if you crouch when you move you are also completely silent. This is already talked about in another thread actually.

Yes, crouching makes you silent as well. Of course, crouching does not cover the singing, which you still need dead silence for that, theres just no way around it.
