help updating bios

iam looking for some help with updating my bios youv got it to boot from floppy.
iv got the asrflash.exe & k7v4apro 1.80 but carnt seem to find the A:\ screen to get the above to run

There any particular reason for flashing? Is there some issue that is fixed in the bios you want to flash, or just want to because it is newer?

I always look at it this way, if you have to ask how, don't do it. Unless there is an issue that you are having and the new bios address it, don't bother unless you want to take the chance of turning your motherboard into a paperweight.

i think u have to reformat the floppy disk to something like rebootable or something. google it.

The windows-based portion of the flash program will make the floppy bootable when the flash is put onto the disk. In your BIOS set the A: or floppy drive to first boot device, then restart.

Don't flash your BIOS unless you really need to. It is kinda risky.
