go to youtube. Watch the MP7 on FutureWeapons, come back and tell me your answer again. that UMP is dead compared the MP7 now. MP7 will be everywhere in 2008.. btw.. Sorry if I flamed ur post, but the Mp7 is a killer..
An Akaban would be awesome, but only if they program it in right... so many games don't take the time to make it so the first two rounds fire very rapidly, then the rest are at a "normal" rate of fire. It'd probably have to be two-shot burst for balance, though...

Agree, had to be done right. The system it uses would be "peculiar" to implement on Cod4. Was my prefered russian gun on S.T.A.L.K.E.R... until i couldn't play it anymore... quite useful... they done it not bad there.
And how about an HK53? Small, carbine gun... could be like the NATO counterpart of the AK-74u, could be counted as a SMG as this one.
Remember playing Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, waaaaaaayyyyyyy back in the day. Remember how you could choose your ammunition load out, either jacketed hollow-point, FMJ or for shot guns, 00-buck shot, slug and beanbags. Each different load out worked better on different targets, so on and so forth.
Why can't we incorporate something like that? Anyone else feel intruiged by this idea?

Bleh, its practically a smaller P90. With a limited range.
Luckily there's no body armor in the game, so other kinds of ammo would be pointless.
But you see, a hollowpoint will mushroom out very quickly, and do lots of damage, but it's poor penetration which causes this damage also stops it from going through walls. Whereas a full metal jacket will have better penetration, and do less damage since it won't expand as much. Also, the FMJ's great kevlar penetration would make it range increase. You can make it fit CoD4.
Well, let's think about this from a uniqueness standpoint. Another G36 would be just a skin change in game terms, or simply "redonkulous" if they decided to give it super accuracy from a longer barrel (maybe you could unlock variant skins like the paint jobs, so you could get G36/E/K and what have you). I'd say, put in guns that are truly DIFFERENT, in either look or action (preferably both).
As such, I'd like to suggest the following:
UMP .45 - Slower firing, heavier hitting subgun that's dead silenced suppressed. Think of it as somewhere between the MP5 and the AKS-74u in terms of handling. More pow than the MP5, less "rip" than the Krinkov.
Steyr AUG - It just looks completely different. Place it near the other assault rifles, maybe a little more accurate with a ***** of a reload time (manual of arms on a bullpup.) Although, hey, really, either an SA80, F2000, or FAMAS would work as well, just to fill the bullpup gap in this game.
SR-25 Suppressed - Single shot silenced AR variant. Give it power between the M14 and the M16, single shot, scoped, silenced. The wetworks sniper rifle! Another option would be a modified SIG or an MSG-90.
93R - A burst firing pistol with a jumbo clip! There's no better way to say, "F*ck You" than with an automatic sidearm! Make the combined burst do a little more than the Desert Eagle (freaking Jam Master 5000 right there, and NOT because it rocks).
.357 Smith and Wesson - Because revolvers > Desert Eagle in all regards, including cool factor. Especially cool factor.
Pancor Jackhammer - *Please* I'll make you a cake for this one. I'll even bring the companion cube! For all of the un-initiated, the Jackhammer is known as the "answer to the question no one asked". It's a fully automatic bullpup shotgun with a ten round rotary magazine, with nifty recoil control, and the single meanest looking snub nosed profile you've ever seen. Oh, and it's drum magazines? Yeah, they turn into LAND MINES. There's a reason only a few dozen were ever made, but please, please, please, I would <3 IW forever if they put this in there, even in nerfed form. "It's hammer time!" BOOM BOOM BOOM!
G11 - Hey, while we're on the bizarre guns, let's get a shout-out to the caseless wondergun of the late 80's. Part of the cancelled ACR project in the US, it was supposed to be West Germany's next-gen AR, until the Cold War ended, and the money being used to create it got sent to rebuild East Germany. But hey, this thing spits bursts at such a speed that the recoil doesn't strike until the third round leaves the gun. Meaning three bullets in the tightest pattern you've ever seen, and you've got forty-five rounds. The big problem is ammo. You're gonna lose it fast. (In game, I'd have it do less damage than any other AR, because that RoF is going to be messy.)
And how about a White Phosphorous "marking" grenade? You know, so we can "mark" enemy positions for allies. If the enemies happened to burn to death in 4000 degree heat, so much the better, but we were really just marking their position, we swear, Mr. Geneva Convention and Fourth Hague!
