View distance

Hey guys i recently started playing BF2 again after about a year or so and i got a new PC but for some reason my view distance is much shorter than i remembered. Now maybe my memory fails me but i set my view distance to max and everything else is on minimum because im an FPS whore haha. so do i have to raise up my other graphics settings to see more and if so which help the most?

Geometry helps I think. Shouldn't affect FPS too much.

yeah setting Geometry higher will decerease the LOD which makes things more detailed and things will "disappear" at a farther distance.

yup that worked out very nicely thanks. does resolution play any role in view distance because i like to keep it as low as possible because i get headaches from looking at things that are too pretty haha. thanks alot guys.

setting your resolution can help. u should realy notice that increasing the resolution helps with sniping
