Nope, i don't believe so. I think 2 cores help, but no more.

Yes, it supports multiple cores/processors, COD4 doesn't take too much to run on all high. Almost every game will benefit from running on a multi core/cpu system when running mod tools and testing in debug mode.

      What operating systems are supported?
COD4 will run on Windows XP and Vista.

Will there be included a anti cheat system on release?
COD4 will most definitely have anti cheat included, IW have announced that Punkbuster from Evenbalance will be used.

What version of DirectX is supported?
COD4 is developed for use with DX9, it was going to have DX10 aswell but IW has desided to drop the support for DX10. It will still run on Vista and PC’s with a DX10 card.

Will COD4 support dual and quad core processors?
Yes indeed, COD4 will support both processors.

      Will there be Mod Tools/Support?
Yes, IW do plan on releasing Mod tools and Mod support for COD4, there may not be mod tools out of box however, they are working to ensure that they have mod tools and support as soon after launch as possible. They have confirmed built-in mod support, something called ModWarfare and a über-config file.

      Will There Be Http Redirect?
Yes, COD4 will utilize Http redirect.

What are the requirements to run COD4 on a PC?
      Recommended requirements:
CPU: 2.4 GHz Dual Core or better
RAM: 1GB for XP and 2GB for Vista
      HD: 8GB Free Space
GFX: 3.0 Shader Support, Nvidia Geforce 7800, ATI Radeon X1800 or better.

      Minimum requirements:
      CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 2.4 GHz, AMD® Athlon™ 64 2800+ processor
or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better.
RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
      HD: 8GB Free SPace
      GFX: NVIDIA® Geforce™ 6600, ATI® Radeon® 9800Pro or better

Ah, interesting. Runs fine on my Core 2 Duo E6600 3.4ghz, so i can't see what else quad core might add :hmm:
