Anyone see how this gun is any good at all. It has the same stats as the ak47, but less of a fire rate! I have trouble with the low fire rate of the AK, much less even a lower fire rate for the MP44! I thought the last unlock would actually be of some use...guess not! Any suggestions? One more question...how do you "cook" a grenade?
What is so special about the MP44

This is a gun to be mastered. It will own in the hands of a CoD veteran player, but the rest of us are suxxors with it :dead:
It needs perks like Bandolier, Stopping Power and Steady Aim to make it the equivalent of other ARs in the game.
As Eliminator states above, to 'cook' a nade, you have to depress and hold the grenade button momentarily before throwing (releasing the key). It takes a little practice, but once you get good with it, this technique is deadly.
I have a clanmate, El-Gorko, who is very adapt at this and can time it so that they explode in the air right as they reach your location. It takes a lot of practice to get this good, but it is truly awesome to watch him take people out with cooked nades.

I wish the player himself could start cooking, not automatically, right after you pull the pin.
I bloody loved the art of cooking nades in AA, was unbeatable. Well, I whored the game 24/7 so what you expect.Comment

It's the same as the AK, essentially. Anyone who masters the MP44 will have mastered the AK... and seeing as the AK has a higher RoF, a veteran CoD player will be even better with it than the MP44, which will remain a novelty gun.Comment
