PLEASE!! what driver for a radeon 9600 chipset to play BF2

Hello ive been getting my computer upgraded recently (just to play battlefield 2). we got a new graphics chip which was the radeon 9600 and we got more ram. now we have more then enough to play battlefield 2 but it keeps conking out after the intro movie. i have been told it needs new drivers please help me out. if you have the drivers plz tell me what driver it is and if possible where you got it.

please help me. it cost us $250 for the upgrade so i realy need to find the driver. please dont worry about the radeon driver because we have tried that.

P.S. Hope you didn't pay more than $50.00 for the card (and sad to say it isn't even worth that much anymore).

yeah 9600 + ram should not cost $250. -_-. anyways, just to let you know, the 9600 is a old card. the problem shouldnt be within the drivers.

for that problem, you might need to delete the battlefield 2 folder in My Documents. and hten force 4x agp speed for your card.
