    Spec and Performance?

I got PS3 version of the game, don't bash this console fps gamer just yet, theres a reason behind it.

I heard CoD4 runs very well on main stream PCs, it looks pretty good also.

I tried the demo for CoD4, the game runs like poopoo on my computer.
Here's the recommanded setting for my computer:

The game doesn't look bad, but no where near good, and I am getting 45ish fps the whole time.

Then I decided to pay 10 more dollars to buy the PS3 version, way better graphic, way higher resolution, 60fps.

I am the only one having bad experience with the PC demo?

I expect the demo is a clone of the final game (performance wise).

    my spec:
    AMD 4400+ X2
    2gb ram
    7800GT SLI

Do NOT let COD choose your settings.

it puts me at the lowest resolution, and bunch of other **** specs giving me a **** looking game at about 35fps.

I set myself up myself with 800x600 and bunch of the right settings and im running a game that looks damn good at 35+fps outdoors

I did try running it at 1920 x 1200 everything high, 10ish fps.

I using the auto detect only shows the best possible fps possible to run the game with my spec, if you tune up any setting fps will drop.

You upped your setting and the game ran better?!

the native res on console is not 1080x1200 so it is not a higher res at all.. it is way lower then most players on the PC have there res set to..1680x1050 is prolly the avg.. and as for the look's of the game it does not come close to the PC and the FPS drop's just like in PC or any other console when in firefights and stuff.. + you have to play with a control.. im not bashing the ps3 cuz it is good for kid's.. im just correcting you..

If you don't know much about computers then this could be your cause, you need to get latest drivers for gfx & sound card, scan your pc for adware, spyware, malware etc, defrag the hdd, disable any unwanted apps in windows. and never have use v-syncticked in games.
