Crashes on mission 3 and MP crashes on Bloc

Crashes on mission 3 and MP crashes on Bloc

This for a friend.

SP crashes to the desktop when he reaches the 3rd mission. Also, on MP, it crashes to the desktop when it starts to load the map for Bloc. Could a corrupt install cause this? Should I back up his file and try reinstalling? What do you think?

It does indeed sound like a corrupt install. Backing up the mpdata file to save his MP information, and re-installing the game is probably not a bad idea.
