Easy Mod Question (i think?)

Anyone know what files I have to edit (and how to edit) to get rid of the health indicator and ammo count (bottom left and right) on the screen? Simply turning off the hud from options doesn't work. It just removes the background of those sections.

the ****ing menu HUD stuff; PM me tomorrow and I can figure it out being I'm a tad bit drunk atm.
