Hexed Characters ???

Just a thought... wonder if any1 can shed some light on the question....

Can you use Hexed macros in this game?

example:

Current game name : [TDS] Petroleum

Hexed game Name : [TЧ] Þꆮ|êúm

Now.. you can edit your name within the config_mp file.
Can you used Hexed Macros? or will the game crash, not register the new name?

or worse.. will punkbuster ban you?

Just use regular characters.

I'm sure PB would kick you for irregular text. I.E, the trademark symbol (™), will get you kicked.

Yea, PB says when each game loads that it will kick for abnormal characters.

Ive seen people kicked for having too many colors in their name.

I have a bug with CoD4 that sometimes causes me to type letters like áãêïîģņ (Latin w/diacritics I think) which is very annoying. I haven't been kicked by PB for it, though I think I was kicked by an admin for it once.

I have seen a PB message that said <Whatever player name> kicked for abnormal characters, or something of the like.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend the non-standard characters for playing ranked MP.
