Get this game for free

after I start the game it pops up this window saying - "code_post_gfx" is corrupt

I bought the game 2 weeks ago and I'm still unable to find solution for the problem

To whoever solves this problem, I will send you the original game by mail as a reward, I'm that pissed off

find the file "mssmp3.asi" (i dont know where it is) and rename it "mssmp3.bak"

What's the point of keeping the game if it doesn't work, not even Activision can solve the problem, tried to contact them - never answered.

This way, at least I'll know if I can play it or not

From reading the linked topic he posted, looks like he gave up and traded it in for Crysis.

Try to reinstall the entire game and delete all files it may leave behind. Reinstall and install latest drivers ( maybe again ) and then try it again.
I wouldn't suggest messing around with original files. Murdered some of my games too :p

If that doesn't help, i wouldn't know.

Servers running Crysis: 611

Players in COD4: 25,209
Servers running COD 4: 10,545

Now, don't you think anyone trading COD 4 for Crysis is a fool?

yeah it would be a really stupid thing to do.. cod4 is one of the best game's ever. crysis was a flop..
