[POLL] M40 - R700 - Barret

Just as the title says.

For all you snipers, bolt action only (with the exception of the .50 caliber Barret) , which rifle do you prefer the most, and why?

I prefer the M40, because I play hardcore, and it does just as much relative damage in Hardcore as the R700, but is more accurate.

So, what do you guys think?

M40 all the way. Just got my red rigers with it

R700 + stopping power = 1 shot kill

M40 + stopping power = 1 shot kill + it is more accurate.

M40 is awesome but IMO the Barret is better becuz with stopping power it is 1 shot kill almost anywhere but legs and the accuracy is fine for me i get headshots all the time with it and rarely miss

All snipers are 1 shot kill almost anywhere with stopping power lol I dont even need stopping power, all i shoot is headshots

the barret is for people who dont aim but like to have a nice spam, hopefully hitting the target in a hail of bullets.. the same with all auto rifles..

the only better thing the barret is good at is cqc, some people like using it like a shotty..

Same reason as you Arialz. Only hardcore, so get the more accurate one.

@wneZECA, the autos aren't just for people who can't aim. They're great when the game messes up and your dead on headshot misses, because you can fire again.

M40A3. I love it, it's accurate and it looks good. Also, a good sniper is stealthy, so I picked UAV jammer instead of stopping power, because it's easy to get headshots if you realy want to.

yea i agree, hs are easy in this game and so its far more to your advantage if you choose UAV jammer.

I can't vote... I have no favorite... I use all of those in the choices...

I don't like one bit those snipers who shoot with SVD, M21 or with the .50 cal just like they would shoot with m4/M14...

When they see some movement, they empty their whole clip and pray for hit/kill...

I use the .50 cal at the moment, not that i can't hit anything with M40/R700, but because i want some variation to the guns...

I prefer the R700 myself.

I find that the R700 gets more 1 shot kills to the chest area then the M40 does (using stopping power on both).

Plus R700 looks way cooler than the M40, that thing looks like junk.

Sure R700 has more recoil but with the way I snipe it does not matter. I start out in cover, then I stand up/lean out/crouch, scope up, steady, shoot, kill, and get back to my cover by ducking back down or leaning back in. Thats when I know where someone is at.

I do all that in the course of 2-3 seconds. So the recoil does not matter cause I never line up a second shot.

If I am looking for target I follow the same steps as above only difference I start out out of cover, then as soon as I shoot I duck back down.

Basically when I snipe I look like a goofer popnig up and down rapidly lol.

R700 looks smexy with digital camo, but ugly elsewise.

Of course, M40 digicam looks even better, and red tiger is just epic. Reminds me of flecktarn.
