Can't find MULTIPLAYER Servers?!?

Nub questions inc...I just bought the game today. I've downloaded the 1.2 patch. When I go to multiplayer no servers show up. Any ideas why?

1) first, make sure you don't have a firewall or router blocking your access.

2) on the Join Game/Server screen, be sure that Source is set to Internet. And click refresh.

If your using vista make sure your running in admin mode

The first time I had to connect to a server by opening the console ( the tilt ~ key ) and typing /connect ip. After , and ONLY AFTER I did that I was able to see the servers in the list... for some reason...
