Sometimes, PB WILL not do anything about it. PB WILL GATHER INFO on them hackers though, and I can confirm on that. It was doing the same thing in BF2142. It need to study all the variations of the same hack and how many people use it etc etc. It's a study first and BAN HAMMER afterwards. The creators of antivirus programs are doing exactly the same thing. IF YOU can tell me one antivirus company that came out with the solution before the virus, you're the MAN. It's always the virus first, then a quick study on it to see exactly what is it doing, what is it's code etc etc and then do something about it.

When I said it happened the same in BF2142, I personally found a couple of websites that were selling hacks for 2142. I sometimes look for them when I get bored ... kept doing this as a passion and been doing this since I also participated in the bf2rankedservers program. Anyways, I was also talking to one of the guys from PunkBuster who checked those websites and told me in a couple of days/weeks he'll show me the result. A couple of weeks later, at least 800 players had their stats deleted and cd-key banned ( confirmed by EA in a public announcement ), also several servers closed and those website that I've found not working anymore.

So give it a bit of time, DO NOT say PB sucks because you have no clue whats going on. COD2 had no "protection" in it and we ( the ones who played it ) all know whats going on in that game ... So, I'd be grateful that we have at least PB in COD4.

Hell, for my clan, I have two jobs. A)Recruit B) Find hacks to report on and have them watched for on our servers.

I found within three days of release two sets of hacks. Now there are more, and there will always be more. Yes it's annoying but Killcam wont be used quite that often to catch them all the time. S&D, ya it's going to be there, but for TDM and FFA I doubt it. The hackers suck that's why they do it. I personally hold myself higher than they. I hope all of you do to.


Edit: After reading the posts on PAGE 2!! (didn't know...) I saw another guy doing the same thing as I. haha I used to live next door to a PunkBuster guy. He would show me the hacks. Man they have some pretty trippy ones out there.
