What can I download so I can play Wake Island on Single Player with bots?

and I want to change the bot number to about 40-50

Download the 64SP mod. But im not sure if you can play wake online after that... I think it replace wake with another version where there is an F18 instead of F35 on the carrier

As long as you use the mod it will not affect your ability to play online since it installs in its own mod folder.

Coeldnt play Wake on muliplayer after downloading SP64.. Had to manually install it tho

I do agree the AIX mod is better (at least in SP) than vBF2 but...

...That's a night map. With different planes on it. Instead of F35s it has stealth bombers, NOTAR littlebirds, and F16s. So if you're looking to practice killing J10s, this one isn't for you.

You will need to change boots on your own. Look for info about how to do it in singleplayers forums

As I mentioned earlier though, the map overwrites the original map's server.zip file so if you want to still be able to play online you need to create a separate mod (which xstax981's mod does for you).

Was it a version older than 2.32? I know there were some problems with the previous installers not detecting the BF2 folder correctly in some cases.

to change the bot number, go to \Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\AI\AIDefault, and change

to
aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1

*if you wnt more or less bots, change 40 to a different number, but this will happen on all maps, so you dont want 63 bots on a 16 player map. also, to increase te bot skill, change the "setBotSkill 0.5" to another number like 0.8 or 1.0

also im pretty sure you wont be able to play online after you do this

bots will create alot of drag on your system if its not up to par with the more bots you add, especially on a 64 man map.

Editing that file won't prevent you from playing online (since it has no effect on a client, only on a server; SP is just a client and server on the same machine).
