The hit indicator in Bf2 shouldnt be there... Coz its way to easy to find where ppl are hiding when your in a na APC. Just shoot randomly at buildings till you see the cross thinggy.

Good point about the hit indicator 'lighting' people up when they are hidden behind walls or fences.

Many a time have I blindly fired across a fence untill the 'x' appears.

I don't usually take any notice of the hit indicator when as infantry. I now just shoot untill they drop.

How do you turn your own hit indicator off? Because there isn't an option ingame.
