Do a lot of people still play this game online?

Do alot of people still play this game, or is it dead? Im thinking about picking it up but I dont want to buy a game with no community.

CoH doesnt have a massive community. Seeing that the games only need 2-8 players you dont need a large amound of players.

I really reccomend picking up CoH, it is one of the most satisfying games I have ever played. Great singleplayer campaign with long and intense multiplayer battles. As I said CoH doesnt have a huge community, but its community is a great amount of people. Their is usually 1000-2000 people online in it a time.


Also, CoD4 is also an awesome game. Pick those two games up, but get CoD4 for PC, I guarantee a better experiance!

when I downloaded the COD4 demo for comp it was chuggy at medium. COH demo runs great at high which is weird. Im not expecting a huge community since this an rts, but lets say comparable to WIC. I just dont want another CNC generals where it was impossible to find a multiplayer match.

the answer is a no, since having got cod4.

telling you to get cod 4 or coh is hard to advise on as they are both brilliant games but both completely different, one is a fps the other rts.

Therefore i advise you get both

I have one more question, I heard coh opposing fronts comes with the original coh is this true? if it isnt true should I get regular coh or opposing fronts.

If you are going to get cod4 for 360 then no.. get CoH for PC.. Cod4 is an awesome game but fps+console = crap... get cod4 for pc and it will be the last game you will buy in a long time..

my 360 version of CoD is fine, apart from the turd graphics compared to my pc demo version

COH has a good community considering game size. Yes it is probably smaller then WIC, but if you like those kind of RTS's (no basebuilding, no cover system, units are expendable) then you'll have a tough time playing COH. COH is a great game, but one that can be very challenging to new players.

You'll never have trouble finding a game with COH, you may have to wait if you do an automatch (ranked game) so that it can pair you up with someone of "relative" skill level.

COH was released last year and this year (a few months ago actually) OF was released. COH give you 2 sides (American and Whermacht) and OF gives you the "new" sides (British and Panzer Elite). There is a bundle pack that allows you to get both game, just make sure it says that it includes the original COH. If you just get OF you can only play the British and the Panzer Elite.

When installing OF it may say that it is removing COH, but don't get pissed, OF has all of the COH stuff but it is locked and can only be "opened" if you have the COH CD key. I know it sounds weird but that is how it works, you aren't getting jipped out of any money.

Yeah when i got of i got my coh back,as i had a relic account but i lost ym cd and cd key,but i just logged into my old account and added my of key and got vcoh back along with 2 new armies.
