Which do you prefer?

I cant stand the iron sights on any of the assault guns and I always need a silencer for my play style so I usually end up using an SMG, usually the MP5 or P90.

My question to thy fellow forum reader is which do you prefer and why?

I find that the MP5 has more dmg than the P90, but it kicks a hella lot more making medium range shoot outs tricky because the gun is always jerking to the right, even when you burst fire.

In the same situation with the P90 you dont have that problem, you just spray so much that it covers in the gaps if you know what I mean

I really, really like the P90. It has a nice rate of fire, good damage and range. I've had some really good games using it. :)

I enjoy firing the MP5 a little more. I enjoy the 'feel' of it and I like to use the silencer with a SMG. The silenced MP5 has a greater range than a P90 with a silencer. I'm smug :shock: with my on-target bursts vs. the empty-the-whole-mag approach so many use with the P90. :salute:

However, I enjoy the iron sights because that's "the real deal" and they did a good job with them.

The M14 is my favorite rifle in the game by far. It is a 'marksman' rifle with a very strong mid-range, a very good close quarters and decent range -- close to a sniper rifle. In fact, the M21 is just an upgraded M14 -- but you can't fight close quarters with it. The M14 with Stopping Power and Steady Aim is hard to beat.

Shipment, Wetworks, Vacant, Showdown are MP5 maps for me...:ar15:

unfortunately I'm an M16 grenaider whore :p I'm not a big fan of the Mp5 or P90 except when I play compact maps like shipment and vacant.

MP5 fan myself. The recoil seems to be about even with the P90, IMO. With Double Tap it's still hardly noticeable if you just pull down while firing.

My favorite for using a suppressor is the Mini-Uzi. I just love the "feel" of that gun with a suppressor, but can't hardly use it with a reflex sight. The opposite is true of the MP5.

The P90, though, is just unpleasant... second worst only to the Ak-74u, that thing just sucks.

On my M14, I'm happier with the Silencer than the Red Dot Sight, as the lack of appearing on their compass can really help.

The Mini-Uzi w/ Silencer, Bandoleer, and Sleight of Hand is evil.

I find the P90 to be one of the best weapons in the game. The number of people I see using is right up there with the MP5.

On the topic of assault rifles. The only iron sights I don't care for are the G3 and M14. Mainly because they are so poorly designed and block so much of your view. I love the ones on the M16 and the AK's aren't bad once you get used to them. I've also made it a point to learn to use the iron sights on the rifles because you only get one attachment. If I can aim well with the iron sights and not need the red dot or ACOG, then that leaves me free to use the other attachments without penalty. I'd hate to have to sacrifice the accuracy of my aim just to get a silenced weapon.

I'm not a big fan of any of the default ironsights. I'd rather use the red-dot/reflex sight (love it).

The silencer is nice, but I'm not as worried about the sound of my shots because I like to say on the move. I'd rather use the UAV Jammer so that I can move around freely and not have to worry about the scans.

Maybe once I unlock everything and have Dead Silence at my disposal, I'll make a 'stealth' class and go with a silencer to be totally invisible.

i think the P90 has a great iron sight so i always use my P90 silenced and whore it up or my G36C AR + silencer and whore it up because i think both these guns have good iron sights.

Mp5 + Silencer + UAV Jammer + Dead Silence... best for compact maps 2v2 or 3v3 :)

I can't stand ironsight on G36.. its just ugly.. very ugly.

I am finding the same thing. I think its cause the MP5 looks like a more traditional gun and it has much less ammo than the P90.

Ditto, I use them both, but for some reason I prefer the P90, with Bandolier, Stopping Power & Steady Aim.
