Voice keeps dieing...

When I'm playing, after so long (could be 15 minutes, could be an hour, who knows?), the voice just stops working. It not only stops working in 2142, but in TeamSpeak as well. There is a six page thread on teamspeak's forums about this issue and nobody seems to know an answer.

Posting it here to see if maybe someone here can come up with an answer, or even an actual fix. So far, it's something to do with 2142 and X-Fi sound cards, everything else is simply unknown.

I get the same problem! I'm actually in a squad with some buddies at work. Example today, I was playing 10 minutes and lost my TeamSpeak action and BF2142 voice action. My buddies were like dude are you there? hello? All I have is to type a message and they don't always see it.

Also, I noticed I couldn't use TeamSpeak after loading Maps when Battlefield was in Window mode . I had to completely quit the game then test and it worked. Loaded the game.. and nada.

My setup is X-Fi card too. Someone told me it might be 64-bit Windows? But now I'm doubting it. I also have the latest drivers and audio console.

yup i got the same problem i got a x-fi to but it only seems to get back when i exit the game and restart ts and it works again.

Yeah, restarting TS doesn't really do anything I think. My TS starts working again once I exit 2142. Oh, and it's got nothing to do with 64bit winxp, I'm running 32bit.
