Cvar_picmip=3 gets me kicked ?

Cvar_picmip=3 thats the message i get when i get kicked on cod4.. Does ne1 know what this means? I cant even play a full round. Please help

Your graphics are set too low. Crank your graphics up all the way, then lower things one at a time until you get no lag.

That's the way it appears... I had a clan member that was getting kicked. He set his graphics high, then lowered them to an acceptable level and he stopped getting kicked.

im pretty sure thats not the problem cause the problem has stopped. at the time i was experiancing this issue my car was set on high.. some time after i lowered my setting to low = performance and it still hasnt happened. I really dont know what the cause was however its not doing it any more.
