Personally I think that it is an exploit, but one that gives you no advantage what so ever. I mean dear god it is a stupid thread, but one of the admins is hard in defending his point (which I agree with) so that is why it remains open. Feel free to add your comments here or there, but I would like to get everyones opinion on this. You can find my own oppinions in the thread (and some cursing!).

Basically I think it is an exploit, but one that gives no advantage and if anything hurts the player that uses it. Because of that thread there my post count has gone through the roof lol.

Me aswell, but I was yelling at all of the idiots that were saying that it gave them an "UBER advantage", without proving it.

i would consider this cheating because of the advantage of the control the person can have.

this reminds me of EA games that don't support widescreen because it was considered "cheating" with a wider perspective. I think it was last year when they started to realise

Honestly after I have trouble playing other RTS's after playing supreme commander because of the strategic zoom. It should just be implemented for all players. Fair for and makes the gamemuch more enjoyable to play.(IMO)

I already think CoH is too zoomed in and this cheat would solve my problem with that. However I would not want to use it if it was not available to everyone. So yes it is a cheat, anything that gives you an unfair advantage and that is not supposed to be part of the game is a cheat. Do you use it bodybag?

Meh, it's not an exploit, more of a different camera angle.

Weel the different camera angle does enable you to spot enemies quicker and to get a better idea of the environment etc...

lol, or a hack where you jump into the game in a FPS environment and own everything with just the one soldier
