Multiplayer Windows Api Error

I bought COD4 on Steam and it updated automatically, i encountered this problem when it installed 1.2 patch and occurs in every server i go into. I tried to re-install but nothing, i re-downloaded but nothing. I used the PBSVC program that was given by a user in one of the topics below ran the check up and nothing to report (everything was OK). I then started the game again, managed to play two games but then again this error came up and now i do not even manage to actually play because right when i respawn it comes up and takes me to the menu.

Thankyou very much sorry for repeating this. But erhm i dont have BF2 or BF2142 installed ... I have no programs running in compatibility mode and i keep nothing apart messenger skype and xfire open when i play. Plus this happened only from a few days and i did not install any other game apart COD4. Heeelp !

EDIT : I should read other posts after the first one ! SORRY
