Problems (multiple) help me

hello. i have just bought BF2 and enjoy it allot. but i have many problems. i bought the complete edition(all boosters) but i cant seem to install any of them. i do not have my computer hooked to the net at this time. i got the patch 1.4.1 and i let it run through the night. but i wake up in mourn and it says patch failed. i am starting at ver 1.0 do i need all patches before 1.4.1? the reason i got 1.4.1 instead of useing the one on this disk is cuz that didnt work. Help!?

Post your system specs , others may be able to help more.
You should only need the full 1.41 patch, but u might need to install the 1.41 patch after you have installed SF,AF and EF.

Install BF2, then SF and then 1.41 patch. Then install EF and AF then re patch 1.41.
(I think that's the right order)

AF requires you to repatch to 1.41

Just had a thought ............. if u bought the whole edition it should all install surely?? ..... or does it say it requires the 1.41 patch?

my system specs have nothing to do with this. the only problem with the specs i have is Vista. but now my comp is being dumb and not installing/ or uninstalling. it says its being interupted. help?

Make sure you have no background tasks running while you install it, no anti virus/firewall etc .....boot ur pc and install without starting anything else.

My 1.41 patch takes only 6 mins to install itself............. you have to leave it over night?

yeah i think there might be something wrong with my disk? because when i do end up playing, i use high everything and it runs smoothly. i dont know whats wrong. is there a installer that i could download that would install BF2 on my computer?

edit: restarting my computer didnt work. im going to go back to a restor point and see if it works.

it should install from the disks u have and if anything you should only need the 1.41 patch.
if you had to dl the 1.41 patch, do it again from another website. Might be you have a corrupted patch file.

well i need to reinstal cuz the patch says that it cant find the install folders.

Bf2 should install itself in 'program files/EA games/battlefield 2' as default. If you changed the default then you need to redirect the patch to where you installed BF2.

When I reinstalled my game, I installed BF2 then SF then the booster packs and then the 1.41 patch last. The booster pack CD has 1.4 patch on it.

Also, you won't be able to play the booster pack content until you connect to the internet and register it.

how did you get the patch if you don't have internet?
