I think it will be. Call of Duty (1) got Game of the Year 2003, so why CoD4?

It will win Multi-Player Game of the Year for sure.

Overall Game of the Year is another story. There is some steep competition, but it will be a front runner for sure.

It should for a few reasons:
1. it is a really great game
2. it does not require a new system to run it
3. EA had nothing to do with it!

CoD4 would be my choice for MP FPS game of the year. I believe Halo's hype might eclipse this game, though.
