ok well i went to play aroudn of cod 4. and strated the multiplayer icon up an it told me that cod 4 had been shutdown wrongbefore. an wanted to start in safe mode. ok well i did that and now my damn profiles are gone. including my damn lvl 52 dude who i had all set up. wow talkign about me beeing mad. wonder what had caused this i have no viruses or spyware

Sounds like the mpdata is corrupt as it was prompting you to start in safe mode which probably resulted from not shutting down properly. -

had a freeze up,when i restarted cod4 i went safe,then it said my stats were
reset,back to pv1....have a corrupt mpdata file in my directory,dont know
happened...or wether to delete it was L55 going for leet,but whatever,start over....gives me a challenge.:laugh:Comment

You rank should be restored if you start the game back up in normal mode, im not sure whether safe mode would effect your rank, but its possible.
