Cod 4 n Vent

Im sorry but this is much of a vent problem not a COD 4 one. Wasnt sure were to go and i was already reggy'd here so i thought you might be able to help.

When ever i load up vent my computer is using around 20-50% of the CPU usage.. this is vent tho . Funny thing is that ventrillo.exe only registers between 0-5 on the CPU on Task Manager. the System is the one that jumps up from 0 25. Now what the heck is going on? ive repaired, removed ventrillo twice and no dice.

PS dont give me a gay answer like "use TS" cause i have them both...

this is a freshly reformated amd3800+, m2n-e SLI deluxe , 3gbs of DDR2, and a 7800GT oc with a 250GB HD on the latest xp

lo m8, i also use vent, i have no probs with it, not only that but i ran my vent server from my comp and also run vent to connect to it, i also have 2 other ppl connected to it at the same time aswell, i have no probs running CoD4

Vent uses very very little bandwidth, it should be no where near what you r getting.

when u say 25.0, u mean that whats ur network is saying is being used???

if so, do this lil test and let me know

click on start, run, then type cmd
in the new window type
ping www.bbc.co.uk then press enter

you should get 4 (or 3) ping tests at atfer that it should give u ur overall avg

do this WITHOUT running n e thing and let us know what u get.

no thats CPU usage not network..

well vent just does'nt use that amount of cpu, headly uses n e.

either something is wrong with the vent u got or something else is kicking off when u start vent


u on xp or vista m8?
