Dice Dogtag Challenge III?

Well it's been a long time since we had a DDC, I thought maybe having another one would attract some people that moved on to COD4, UT3, etc.

What do you guys think?

DICE doesn't care about this game anymore. So don't expect a new challenge for the game.

if someone join back BF2142 due to this it will be just for this challenge and he will move back to COD4 etc after it ....

If they really wanted to get more people back I would say add content. New maps, new things to fly and drive, etc. Its the friggin future and the best things we have for airpower are a freaky plane/helo hyrbid bastard child and a jet transport helo?

How about a big transport helo will all the seats having a gun/weapon of some form, with no drop pods. How about a ground based TV guided missle platform (more range/damage). Or maybe "combat FAVs" were the "back seat" would have a mounted pilum type gun to use.

Basic new maps, nothing fancy just different/new city/titan maps since those seem to be the most popular. You can only play Camp G sooo much before you head explodes.

Those sorts of things would get people coming back checking out the new stuff maybe staying for awhile. Though why would DICE/EA do this, theres no money in it for them... They might sell afew more copies of the game but nowhere near the investment it would take to create these things, theres no monthly fee to get people back for, theses just no good "corporate" reason to get people back. There is most likely a "BF3" in the works and 2142 will just eventually die out as is with afew more patchs.

CKMC doesn't exist anymore, nor does Demize, I doubt any form of public relations will be around for 2142.

I doubt any more pacthes will ever see the light for 2142. Also for some new ''free'' content.

Yes, BF2 got some new content, but that game was just a really new thing to the games industry and a few thousand more players are playing BF2 rather then 2142.

im only playing bf2 at the moment to pass the boredom until something good happens on 2142 i hate bf2 for all the jet whoring so i just entice people into teamkilling me and them getting banned from the servers most of the time. :laugh::laugh:

Yeah, i'm playing BF2 most of the time now too and i'm gonna buy CoD4 at the end of the week.

I'm most of the time whoring the heli and just flying in Sharqi and letting my gunner get all the kills. I only fire on vehicles, so....

I hope they will do another one, or just a couple of DICE vs the rest of the world rounds. That will be fun. However, they would end up in a dogtag fight anyway.... :)

yea i would like to join either a dice dogtag challenge or a tbf2142 :P ive never been at the dice ones because they were out of my region unless i want 230ping.
