    BF2 Crashes

    Hi,

    I have been playing bf2 for a while. thought i would load all the updates. loaded all updates. now i cannot get the game to load.

    I loaded all updates up to the lastest version.

    The games loads its when i goto login on my old accounts thats when it crashes to desktop :dead:

      Did you apply all of the patches in order, or did you just use the 1.41 patch.

      Only apply the 1.41 patch.

        try deleting teh caches and also the profile folder , cleanup & defrag, you can retrieve you account again after all that.

        should only been 1 update, what do you mean plural? you should only have patched the 1.41

          Hi i have unistaled everything. reloaded my bf2. and added just the lastest patch.

          windows xp home
          sp2
          amd athlon XP2800+

          2.0ghz 768mb of ram

          Nvidia Geforce 6600

          What is teh cache pls

            cache is like a temp folder, that the computer loads up the files at start of game, anyway go to start /my documents/battlefiled 2/mods/ bf2 cache

            just delete all those folders that are in there, might be 3 or 4 depending on last time you delteed. jsut delte them all.

            specs are weak dude, ya better put your settings on medium or low
