Gold Skins?

OK, so I'm looking through my guns and I notice that if you complete every weapon challenge in a category, you get a golden skin for one weapon in that category. I checked em all out and here is what I found.

Assault Rifle: AK-47 Golden
SMG: Mini-Uzi Golden
LMG: M60 Golden
Shotgun: M1014 Golden
Sniper Rifle: Dragunov Golden


All you gotta do is get the kills and head shots with each weapon in the category and you get the golden skin for the weapons listed.

Yup, can't forget that. But thats for rank 55 not for challenges and such.

Its been said again and again and it sort of common knowledge to a few now but it doesnt hurt to say it for the new people here.

I've got all gold guns but sniper, working on that now.

However, I do not use anything of them. I can't stand the ak (prefer G36C), dont use uzi (MP5 FTW), dont ever use shottys or LMG's.

It is unfortunate you cannot pick which one you could make gold, plus some of them just look ugly. Gold ak looks like bronze, not gold.

how have u guys got 150 headshots with all 5 smg?
or do u just have to get the first weapon challenge and not 2 and 3?

You have to get ALL of them. All 150 head shots with every SMG.

well, getting the expert challenges would automaticly get you the marksman challenges if you thing about it....

Oh, it's not consecutive, it's total headshots. Given enough time, people will get them naturally without even trying. But not everyone will use all weapons, and thus not complete the challenges (ie. 150 headshots with a shottie.)
